How We Service Your Waterproofing System
To properly maintain your sump pump and other waterproofing systems, our specialists follow six important steps:
- Test and clean your sump pump system
- Test and replace batteries
- Service your dehumidifier
- Check the discharge line
- Maintain your crawl space liner
- Check for problems and suggest upgrades
The first step is to inspect the internal components of your sump pump. If everything is in good working condition, your specialist will test the sump pump. Then it will be thoroughly cleaned. Your sump pump’s battery will be replaced, and the battery for your backup sump pump will be tested.
If you have our SaniDry™ dehumidifier, we will clean the pre-filter and replace the air filter. Then, we will oil the internal components. Finally, we will check your discharge line to ensure the free flow of water, with no signs of freezing. If your crawl space is encapsulated, we will check your CleanSpace® liner to see if it needs any repairs.
If your service technician discovers any signs of emerging problems, we will suggest the next steps and implement solutions as necessary.
